When you arrive at the lake, a sense of calm prevails leaving the hustle and bustle of the city far behind. The sound of waves kissing the shore, wind whispering through the trees and birds singing in the distance craft a peaceful Lakeside Retreat. Created by Deborah Edwards, Lakeside Retreat was inspired by her family cottage, a place of beautiful memories. A nature inspired palette of blues, greens and browns characterizes the collection.

Intricately detailed, this watercolor collection features a panel with six blocks, each with a different scene. The scenes can be used as is or deconstructed to use in a larger quilt or toss pillows. Other focal prints include a border stripe and a scenic. Trees, ferns, cross grain logs, and pebbles drawn from nature complement the featured prints. Soft clouds and watery textures along with a selection of Toscana blenders completes the coordination.
