‘The Blues’ have been inspiring musicians and artists like me for well over a century. As I read up a little and listened to the music my sketchbook filled with painted ombres in a myriad of blue tones, crotchets, quavers, and musical staves. But perhaps my favorite print is the one inspired by Chiquita, Josephine Baker’s cheetah!
This print is Stave Duke and features white stripes complimented by a dark blue background.
