Stay out of the cold and come in to sew! Spend a cozy weekend sewing with friends in our state-of the art classroom. Our Sew Cozy Quilt Retreat includes three days of sewing time on the projects of your choice with Kim. Meals are included, as specified below, and outside of a great time sewing, we'll have fun games, pop up quilt demos, and show and tell. Bernina 4-series machines available on request so you don't even have to lug your machine! Here's more detail: Friday - Arrivals and goodie bag. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks provided. One game, and one demo. Saturday - Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks provided. One game and Show and Tell after dinner. Sunday - Breakfast and afternoon snack provided. Sew until 3pm to depart by 4pm. Coffee, tea, water available all through the retreat as well as lots of sweet treats. If you would like to indulge in an adult beverage, please BYOB. Coffee maker and refrigerator available in the classroom! This a sew-all-day and sleep at home retreat. However, if you need lodging assistance, please let us know! In celebration of the release of his new color-inspired collections Hue & Gemini, this retreat is all about color theory and how to implement it in your quilting projects. Day one begins with a lecture on color theory with a major emphasis on the power of value. We'll then do an exercise in color selection to help strengthen your instincts in choosing fabrics for your projects. **Note that Giuseppe will teach 9-5 on Friday and Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday, but the classroom will be open for sewing until 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
