Learn all the techniques needed to make your first quilt with Mary Beth. You will be making a quilt from Pat Sloan's Teach Me to Make My First Quilt book that teaches you all the techniques needed to make your first stunning quilt. Class will cover fabric selection, cutting, piecing, finishing. Class fee includes use of one of our Bernina 400 series machines and cutting and ironing supplies in our comfortable classroom. This is a great time to enhance your quilting skills and make new friends.
Specific skills you will learn include:
- How to cut out your pieces
- How to stitch your seams and press
- How to follow the pattern
- How to measure and pin your blocks
