Learn how to Dye Fabrics with 2 Techniques: Ice Dying & Low Immersion with Harvey Fierstein

Whatever happened to Tie Dyeing? Have you ever wanted to create your own fabric? Join our friend Harvey Fierstein on January 24th as he shows examples of the quilts he’s made dyeing his own fabrics and then… get your hands wet as we all experiment together.
Harvey will guide the small class through two dyeing techniques and you will take home two yards of Kona fabric of your own creation.
NOTE: you will take the projects home in supplied tubs as they require 48 hours of curing to achieve the full color saturation.
BUT WAIT - THERE’S MORE - On February 5th we will all meet up for a Show & Tell to share the results of our experiments.
ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE CLASS FEE - 2 one-yard cuts of white Kona cotton, two tubs, dye in multiple colors to share, and safety equipment.
You don’t have to bring anything but your curiosity.
