Make a Snowman Collage Quilt with Stacey Murren

Do you want to build a snowman? Come learn how to make this beautifully intricate collage applique snowman by layering multiple pieces of fabrics to make this cute design. In this class you will learn to read the pattern, measure, cut, and sew together in the shape of a snowman. Stacey will help you with fabric selection, creative direction and the technical skills to make this charming applique collage snowman.

| Materials Included: | Includes use of one of our Bernina 400-series classroom machines. |
| Requirements: | Pattern is included in your class fee. Additionally, bring coordinating thread, pins, scissors, rotary cutter and ruler, and other basic sewing supplies. Please let us know if you will need to borrow one of our sewing machines. |

| Instructor Bio: | When you learn, teach. When you get, give. I have been quilting for over 30 years while living in California. After working for 28 years at the University of California, Irvine, I have finally been able to retire and spend more time on my passion of making beautiful things. Over the years, I have tried every type of quilt making, paper piecing, memory quilts, appliqueing anything and everything, crazy patch, whole cloth trapunto all given away to the special people that come across my life. For the last few years, I experienced the joy of making/seeing my own patterns come to life while using mixed media techniques and creating 3D quilts. I attribute my many professional achievements, awards and creative accomplishments to the act of creative quilting. Perfect training for thinking outside of the block, finding solution to make those quilts come alive. |
