Learn to Quilt Beginner Quilting Class with Kim
Tuesdays, January 6th, 20th, and February 3rd, 2026 | 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Learn all the techniques needed to make your first quilt with Kim. You will be making a quilt from Pat Sloan's Teach Me to Make My First Quilt book that teaches you all the techniques needed to make your first stunning quilt. Class will cover fabric selection, cutting, piecing, finishing. Class fee includes use of one of our Bernina 400 series machines and cutting and ironing supplies in our comfortable classroom. This is a great time to enhance your quilting skills and make new friends.
$75.00 for all three sessions - 12 hours of instruction!
Specific skills you will learn include:
- How to cut out your pieces
- How to stitch your seams and press
- How to follow the pattern
- How to measure and pin your blocks

| Instructor Bio: | Kim Spinelli is an award winning quilter who has been quilting since 1985. Deciding to purchase a sewing machine out of the blue and make a quilt. Throughout the years, paper piecing has become one of her favorite techniques to teach as well as beginner quilting. She loves to see the happiness and excitement of her students on their quilting journey. She enjoys learning new techniques from others. There's always something to learn! |
