Open Sew with Stacey

Sewing with Stacey is an open sew where you can work on the project of your choice with Stacey available to answer questions and help as needed. If you have taken one of Stacey's classes, this is a great opportunity to get extra help on those projects. If not, Stacey is happy to help you with any quilting project including art quilts, collage quilts, applique and mixed media quilt projects.
Pre-registration is required and appreciated. If you want to come on the day of Open Sew, please call the shop and we will do our best to accommodate you!
While we are here to help, Open Sew is not a class where you will receive dedicated instruction but rather a social sewing opportunity with a teacher available for quick questions. If you need dedicated help on your project, please inquire about private sewing lessons.
Class fee includes use of our Bernina 400 series sewing machines as well as cutting and ironing supplies in our beautiful classroom. Only $25.00 per 4-hour session.

| Instructor Bio: | Stacey Murren has been quilting for more than 30 years. A long career in higher education led to her passion of teaching a wide variety of quilting techniques and she welcomes beginner to advanced quilters. She attributes her many professional awards to the act of creative quilting. Born and raised in California, each year for the past 30 years she has focused on learning and perfecting quilting techniques from collage, paper piecing, story quilts, memory quilts, applique, crazy patch, thread painting, free motion designs, whole cloth trapunto designs, improv designs to fiber art/mixed media. For the last few years, she has also been making and selling her own patterns. Anything is possible in class with Stacey, and that will become apparent through the broad array of classes she offers. |
