Flannel Shirt Class with Sam Donovan - Featuring Archer Pattern

Want to make your own cozy flannel shirt? This class with Sam will help you fit, cut and sew your very own flannel shirt - just in time for the cooler winter months!

The Archer Button Up is a loosely fitted button up shirt with slightly dropped shoulders and long sleeves. View A has a traditional box pleat at the back yoke and angled cuffs while View B has a gathered lower back detail and straight cuffs.

Techniques involved include sewing a straight seam, setting sleeves, creating continuous button plackets, adding a shirt collar and inserting buttons & buttonholes.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: This is an intermediate apparel class. Class assumes you are confident in sewing machine operation, and cutting/sewing accurately.
Materials Included: Bernina sewing machines available in class if needed.
Requirements: Pattern and fabric listed for your size required. Sam will be available at 9:30 to help with sizing and fabric selection. You will also need scissors, pins, fusible interfacing, matching thread, sewing machine with new needle, snips and buttons: (1) - ⅜? button, (8) - ?? buttons
