Sewing with Stacey is an open sew that you can work on the project of your choice. If you are making one of Stacey's quilts or participating in the Open Sew, this is a great opportunity to get extra help on those projects. If not, Stacey is happy to help you with any quilting project including art quilts, collage quilts, applique and mixed media quilt projects.
For those of you taking one of Stacey's classes, this first Sewing with Stacey is a great change to meet Stacey and talk about class requirements and prep!

| Instructor Bio: | When you learn, teach. When you get, give. I have been quilting for over 30 years while living in California. After working for 28 years at the University of California, Irvine, I have finally been able to retire and spend more time on my passion of making beautiful things. Over the years, I have tried every type of quilt making, paper piecing, memory quilts, appliqu?ing anything and everything, crazy patch, whole cloth trapunto all given away to the special people that come across my life. For the last few years, I experienced the joy of making/seeing my own patterns come to life while using mixed media techniques and creating 3D quilts. I attribute my many professional achievements, awards and creative accomplishments to the act of creative quilting. Perfect training for thinking outside of the block, finding solution to make those quilts come alive. |
