Blooming Times Collage Flower with Stacey Murren
Fridays, June 9 and 16, 10am - 4pm 

Learn raw edge applique, collage techniques and free motion quilting while making this stunning wall hanging with Stacey Murren. She will also give guidance on color and scale to help you design your own unique collage flower masterpiece.

Raw-Edge-Collage is a style of appliqué which uses printed elements to create a scene on the background fabric. In this class you will learn to make a beautiful vase of flowers, while learning to make your own fabric stamps and how to write on fabric for a unique personalized touch.  You will learn how to: cut flowers from fabric to make a beautiful bouquet, basic hand embroidery stitches, basic composition, and how to machine quilting your top.  Finished quilt is 16” X 20” but, it  can be made any size you wish.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginners are welcome but are expected to be comfortable with basic sewing machine operations.
Requirements: Supply list will be submitted in advance of class that details fabric requirements. Please bring your rotary cutter and ruler, thread, scissors or snips, pins or clips, and any other basic sewing supplies that you liked.
