Jacqueline De Jonge Master Class Retreat 2025
Over the 4 day retreat weekend, retreat goers had access to an exclusive sewing room in the hotel everyone was staying at, what better way to spend a weekend as a quilter and sewer! Each student had a dedicated workspace where Jacqueline would go around and offer her assistance and input where she was needed.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks were provided everyday. And each night had a new themed dinner from local staples in the area. Italian and Mexican nights were among the most popular!

Power of Color Lecture and Presentation at the Ridgefield Playhouse on 9/21/24
Our event featuring the renowned Free Spirit Fabrics designers Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably on Saturday, was a resounding success! The Kaffe Fassett lecture captivated and inspired attendees with vibrant items from his latest museum exhibition, The Power of Color, and stunning quilts from his upcoming book, Kaffe Fassett's Quilts on an English Farm. The presentation showcased Kaffe's latest projects and collaborations, including his exquisite patchwork fabric, needlepoint, mosaics, painting, and knitting designs.
Kaffe and Brandon's insights, drawn from their global travels, empowered our guests to explore and experiment with color, igniting their
creativity. The event was further enriched by the inclusion of Kaffe's upcoming book, personally signed by Kaffe and Brandon for all lecture attendees.
Our kaffe-tastic pop-up shop, featuring sample quilts, fabrics, kits, precuts, and accessories, was a delightful addition, providing guests with the perfect opportunity to bring a piece of the event home with them. We loved our workshops at Cotton Candy Fabrics
We are overjoyed to announce the incredible success of our recent workshops at Cotton Candy Fabrics, featuring the legendary Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably. The sessions were filled with inspiration and creativity as participants crafted their Country Snowball and Seed Packet quilts under the expert guidance of these two design icons. One attendee remarked on how amazing it was to see talented students guided by Kaffe and Brandon and expressed excitement about seeing the finished quilts and the new projects inspired by the workshop.
The unique opportunity to shop alongside Kaffe and Brandon added a special touch to the experience. Many participants found it invaluable to receive personalized help in finding their perfect quilt designs, making the learning experience truly priceless.
Throughout the weekend, our studio buzzed with vibrant colors and boundless creativity. The energy was contagious, with students showcasing their amazing projects and being continuously inspired by Kaffe and Brandon. We are immensely proud of the stunning work produced by our talented students and grateful for the unforgettable memories created.
