11/5/25 - As you have probably heard, Viv Lazich of Sew Inspired is going from Inspired to Retired and is closing her store at the end of December. I’m writing today to share the exciting news that Cotton Candy Fabrics will be opening a second location in Simsbury, Connecticut, in January 2026 to continue the creative legacy that Viv and her team built at Sew Inspired.

12/4/23 - Tucked in Brookfield, Connecticut (just north of Danbury, minutes away from I-84, and close to the NY State Border), Cotton Candy Fabrics & Quilts has been my go-to local quilt shop for years. Erin, the owner, and her staff just celebrated their fifth anniversary (and their first birthday in their new spacious location at 450 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT).
