A Handi Quilter Experience
Join us to get started on or expand your longarm quilting journey. Amy Domke will be here with a free Open House on October 31st, followed by 3 days of hands on classes. With six longarms to sew on, we’ll have two students per machine. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills or test drive a machine before purchase!
These classes will be held in the Cotton Candy Fabrics classroom which will be outfitted with six Handi Quilter Amara longarms with Pro-Stitcher Premium.

Handi Quilter Experience! - Not So Spooky Longarm Open House & Halloween Party
Longarm quilting isn't so scary - anyone can do it with a little guidance!

Handi Quilter Experience! - Intro to Longarm Quilting
Does longarm quilting interest you, and you’d like to learn more about it? Or do you just want a review of longarm quilting basics? This class removes the mystery of longarm quilting by explaining machine and frame elements and features, how to load a quilt, and vital facts about thread, needles, and tension. Handi Quilter longarm machine and frame systems come in various sizes for every budget and are user-friendly because they are designed by a quilter, for quilters – just like you!

Handi Quilter Experience! - Sweet and Simple Free Motion Quilting
Quilters everywhere LOVE the excitement and fun of free-motion quilting – and it’s easier than you think! Create flowing designs by connecting simple design elements with continuous lines, traveling across the quilt or filling in a specific area. Learn how drawing and muscle memory contribute to beautiful free-motion quilting, and how you can create stunning designs.

Pro-Stitcher is an intuitive computer-guided quilting system designed especially for use with Handi Quilter longarm quilting machines. User-friendly and simple to operate, the step-by-step process for each function is easy and fun. Whether finishing your own quilts or consider a quilting business, come see the elegant and precise quilting you can accomplish with Pro-Stitcher. New users – start here!

Handi Quilter Experience! - Advanced Pro-Stitcher
This class builds on the Pro-Stitcher Basics class and addresses specific functions and basic techniques a quilter will use on a regular basis to finish quilts with the Pro-Stitcher. Tips and shortcuts for using features of the program are included.

Handi Quilter Experience! - Pushing Pro-Stitcher to the Limit!
This class builds on the Pro-Stitcher Advanced class and addresses how to get the most of your Pro-Stitcher experience including numerous custom quilting functions including creating custom shapes, grouping designs, and positioning borders and corners.
This class is intended for students that took the Advanced Class the day before or is already a Pro-Stitcher user.

Handi Quilter Experience! - Piece and Quilt on your Longarm
Imagine creating a quilt top, quilting it, and attaching the binding all on your longarm! In this class, Amy will teach you how using a simple quilt as you go method. With two students per machine, you'll both be able to make a smaller project, and all class supplies are included!
