Our Sew Cozy Quilt Retreat includes three days of sewing time on the projects of your choice with Kim. Join Giuseppe Ribaudo of Giucy Giuce for this exclusive retreat experience available only at Cotton Candy Fabrics. In celebration of the release of his new color-inspired collections Hue & Gemini, this retreat is all about color theory and how to implement it in your quilting projects. Day one begins with a lecture on color theory with a major emphasis on the power of value. We'll then do an exercise in color selection to help strengthen your instincts in choosing fabrics for your projects.
Retreat goers have three projects to choose from, each designed with an emphasis on implementing value to create a stunning, color-flowing project. Choose between the classic Winding Ways quilt, a new version of Giuseppe's popular Re quilt, or a brand-new project: Giuseppe's take on the traditional pickle dish quilt. You can choose fabrics for your projects before the retreat, but for the most adventurous of retreaters, choose your colors on the spot from a mystery bag of colors and have Giuseppe help you purchase your fabrics in store!

She's back! Famed quilt designer and instructor Jacqueline de Jonge will join us a four-day Masterclass featuring Jacqueline's paper piecing patterns, color and sewing. The classes that Jacqueline will be teaching at this retreat will be announced in October 2025.
Retreat includes:
- Sewing room open 24 hours a day
- Instruction with Jacqueline from 9-5 each day
- Gift on arrival
- Breakfast Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
- Lunch Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
- Snacks Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
- Dinner Saturday, Sunday and Monday
- Optional activities or games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings
Each student will have a dedicated workspace. Machine rentals will be available. We will have a Jacqueline de Jonge Be Colorful pop-up shop at the hotel including her newest fabric line with Anthology Batiks.
