Join Sandy for an open sew where you can work on the project of your choice with Sandy available to answer questions and help as needed. Pre-registration is required and appreciated. If you want to come on the day of Open Sew, please call the shop and we will do our best to accommodate you! While we are here to help, Open Sew is not a class where you will receive dedicated instruction but rather a social sewing opportunity with a teacher available for quick questions. If you need dedicated help on your project, please inquire about private sewing lessons. Class fee includes use of our Bernina 400 series sewing machines as well as cutting and ironing supplies in our beautiful classroom. Only $20.00 per 3-hour session. This class is an exciting opportunity to be introduced to the techniques of both thread painting and thread sketching for beginners. In this class you will learn the basics of free motion thread painting to create a design using straight and zigzag stitches. Join Sam in this 5-class series where you will make up to three Winter fashions - this is a great skill building opportunity with Sam and a unique opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind wardrobe! Sam will help you pick the right size, select fabric, and show you how to sew your projects. There will be adaptations for men. The class is a five-session class, but if you miss a class, we will include you in an open sew session to make up your work. Note we are unable to give refunds for individually missed sessions. If you are going to miss more than one session, please speak to Sam or Erin so we can try to add you to an open sew.
