Community Involvement

Cotton Candy Fabrics is very committed to the local community and supports charities that focus on improving lives and creating safer communities. Our primary focus for charitable outreach is The Center for Empowerment and Education. We make and donate quilts to be given to clients at their residential facilitate and sponsor events. In 2023, we hosted a quilt raffle with quilts made by our staff, teachers and friends that raised $19,000!

We also support Meals on Wheels with a placemat drive every Thanksgiving. This also us to deliver a placemat with a fall theme on one side and Christmas on the other to those in need at Thanksgiving.

Lastly, we strive to grow quilting and needle arts by supporting the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild and the Bridgewater Fair. For the guild, Erin is past President and currently serves as Program Chair to ensure interesting and educational programs for members. And for the Fair, Erin serves as Chair of the NeedleArts exhibit, encouraging sewists and fibre artists of all ages to submit their work for exhibition and an awards competition. The 2024 fair takes place from August 16-18, 2024. We'll link to the entry guidelines when available.
