Cotton Candy Fabrics Class and Event Policies
Here at Cotton Candy Fabrics, we appreciate your time and commitment to signing up for classes and events that we put on for you! We understand that life happens and the unexpected can change plans, below are our policies for classes and events here at Cotton Candy Fabrics.
Registration & Payment:
- Pre-registration for classes is required as this helps ensure the store has supplies that may be needed and allows the teacher to adequately prepare. While we don’t cancel classes for low registration unless otherwise noted, classes may be cancelled if no one registers.
- Payment is due at registration and your spot in class is confirmed once payment is received.
- You may register in-store, by phone with a credit card, or online.
- The number of students allowed in each class is dependent on teacher preference, project complexity and space requirements. Early registration is encouraged to secure your space.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made 7+ days before class receive a full refund or store credit, except as noted below.
- Cancellations made less than between 24 hours and 6 days before class are refundable for store credit only, unless your spot can be filled from a waiting list, except as noted below. If someone else purchases your seat you will receive a full refund to your original payment method or a store credit.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of class are non-refundable. Likewise, no refunds or credits are given for no-shows.
- For special events, retreats, or classes with national educators, no refunds or credits will be issued unless we are able to fill your seat from a waiting list.
- If Cotton Candy Fabrics cancels a class, (usually due to inclement weather or instructor illness), you will receive your choice of a refund or store credit.
Make-up Classes:
- Make-up sessions are offered only if the shop cancels or reschedules a class.
- Individual make-ups for student absences are not guaranteed unless otherwise noted in the class description.

- Supply lists are linked in class descriptions and can be downloaded for reference. On occasion an additional supply list will be emailed to you in advance of class. We always appreciate when you purchase your class supplies at Cotton Candy Fabrics.
- Each student must have their own copy of required books or patterns listed on the supply list. Photocopied books and patterns are not allowed due to copyright laws.
